With the new year about to begin, let’s take a quick look back at some of our most popular salsas of 2022.
No. 5 – Salsa del Mar
This chunky salsa has the typical Pico de Gallo ingredients of tomatoes, cilantro, and chiles, but also possesses a coastal flair with the addition of pieces of grilled salmon, the squid-like Mexican Pickled Onions, and a seasoning that uses ground dried shrimp. This salsa is the perfect appetizer for a pool party or if you need a snack to reminisce about your last visit to the ocean.
No. 4 – Salsa Ahumada
Salsa Ahumada translates to smoky sauce in English and is true to its name. The roasted tomatoes, onions, and garlic mixed in Mexican Crema with mesquite salt, epazote, and chipotle powder will have you ready to fire up the grill.
No. 3 – Salsa Fresa
This salsa is not overly sweet, but still has a deliciously rich flavor with a mixture of strawberries, roasted bell peppers, and a Fresno.
No. 2 – Salsa a la Valentina
This salsa is full of romantic flavors from the roasted bell peppers, sweet strawberries, juicy Mexican Pickled Onions, some spiciness from the ground chipotle, plus, you can’t have Valentine’s Day without some flowers, so we have that crossed off your list with the addition of hibiscus flowers.

No. 1 – Salsa Morada Morita
A majestic salsa with the inclusion of purple bell peppers, prickly pear fruit, and red onions (hence the name morada), while also offering a fiery taste with the inclusion of chile moritas.
